The family is registered as settles in a deed of sale of land
Establishment of the right of ownership of the lands
Typical family subsistence farm: vegetables, animals, fruits and some wine, bulk
Stanko made the first bottling of the 1979 vintage: Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla, Tocai and the Slatnik blend made with care of the vineyard, low yields and some stainless steel tanks
The first Merlot, in the typical Radikon style
The first barriques
Oslavje is born, a blend of Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon and Chardonnay
The turning point: Ribolla macerated on the skins, other wines are only Oslavje and Merlot
Oslavje is also macerated for 8 days like Ribolla, the respective Riservas 14 days
Macerations and ageing times are progressively increased and the use of sulphites is gradually reduced; the first vines of Pignolo are planted
For comparison, half of the production is bottled without the addition of SO2, the other half is bottles with the usual (minimum) quantity; Jakot is born, the counter-current Tocai;
The final decision: all the wines macerate for 3 months, they don’t need sulphites anymore, instead they need a more performing cork and a litre and a half litre bottles
With Saša, the so-called Linea S is born: Pinot Grigio Sivi and Slatnik; a small addition of SO2 is needed, due to the shorter macerations of about ten days
First trial of the Rosso “RS” for the S Line, which from 2017 onwards is produced every year
Stanko leaves us few days before the harvest, with the duty and the honour of collecting his fruits, taking care of them and guide them in the cellar
With few hectares more and few more arms, we face everyday life, with many projects in mind and our feet deep planted in the ponca
